William Schmitt was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has his BFA in Theatre (Acting) with a minor in Educational Studies from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. He spent his past two summers studying and researching in India, which culminated in an original play called Noah/Manu that explored applying Indian sound healing principles to U.S. theatre performance. He performed Noah/Manu in both Dallas and Delhi in Spring 2026. William aims to have an international, intercultural acting career.
