Tarantino graduated early from AMDA New York, with his certificate of completion from the integrated program, to go on his first national tour. Shortly afterwards Tarantino was cast in Literature to Life's one-man show, Black Boy, which is a verbatim adaptation of Richard Wright's classic novel where he played 20 different characters. He later joined a writing group which led him to RADA for a summer writing program for actors. This inspired him to return to AMDA to get his Bachelor of Fine Arts.
