Tara came up humbly performing theatre around her home state Delaware. From childhood, she passionately studied acting, vocal performance, and dance, but faced severe limitations in funding and educational resources. She was elated to study at NYU, where she continues to hone her craft and collaborate on fulfilling work, acting for film and the stage. She hopes to use her acting and additional scholarship to produce stories of women’s strength, and to uplift communities facing mental health challenges.
