Albanian-American stage and film actor Shpend Xani left his native Prishtina, Kosovo in 1999 following the war and brought with him a vibrant talent and unique skill set, including a degree in acting from the University of Prishtina, his career as a professional basketball player, and proficiency in four languages. Shpend recently graduated with an MFA in Classical Acting from GWU & The Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Academy for Classical Acting in DC. Xani resides and works in New York City and Washington DC.
