Robert DeLun Wood was born and raised in the rough cities of Centreville and East St Louis (City of Champions), Illinois, to Elenora Wood (Robinson) a nurse, and Stephen Wood Sr., a truck driver. With Wood's parents having strong faith in God, they taught their children to also have faith and know that all things are possible through God. Wood has had the pleasure of working with talented directors, producers and writers such as Tyler Perry, Liesl Tommy, David Kirkman, , Richard Ulrich and Dr. Marty K. Casey.
