Rei Yamamoto was born in Japan and raised in California from age 10. She moved to New York to pursue acting after receiving a B.A. in Linguistics & Psychology from UCLA. A grounded actor with a natural presence on screen and an organic dramatic range, she was professionally trained at HB Studios under the Hagen and Stanislavski techniques. She has continued to refine her craft through additional training at The Barrow Group, improv at Upright Citizens Brigade, and is expanding her skill set with combat classes
