Growing up as an 'Army brat', Paul's childhood homes were in Boone, El Paso, Ramstein, Munich, and finally, Tuscaloosa. Paul enjoys immersing himself in every role he lands. Paul's mother, Dorothy Montez, is a mix of Mesoamerican and Jewish descent. His father, Harry McDade, from Newark, New Jersey, had parents from Airdrie & Blantyre, Scotland. Paul has worked with author Nv-Ya Red Star & spent days learning older traditions from Speaking Wind (Pueblo) (P.Quirk) & Martín Prechtel (Tz'utujil).
