I’m a first generation Guyanese-American who, like many children of immigrants, grew up in a strict household with high expectations and many rules. Now as a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, I thoroughly enjoy playing characters who know exactly what the rules are, when to follow them, and when to break them. Determined and quietly persistent, I know how to wait for the perfect moment to speak up and speak out.
