Maurice McRae stumbled into acting during his freshman year at Morehouse College. Originally a pre-medicine major, he found his passion in theater. With a Master's in Acting from Rutgers University, Maurice has graced stages from New York to Los Angeles, making his Broadway debut in Lynn Nottage's SWEAT. For years, Maurice had a dual career as an emergency management official, ascending through the ranks at The Department of Homeland Security. Before leaving to pursue his creative endeavors full-time.
