A West Virginia substitute 3rd grade teacher, using zoom for the first time, as she leads the classroom from her mobile home which is parked behind the local Piggly Wiggly (and has free wifi). She hasn't taught in many years and the school has scraped the bottom of the barrel to find a last minute sub.

I wrote this piece to draw attention to this horrific Bill that was recently signed by the Texas governor, authorizing the general public to report parents as child abusers if they seek any treatment for their transgender children.
