Marita A. McKee is a former educator turned actor and playwright. As a self-professed late bloomer, with roles ranging from A Streetcar Named Desire to Jaja's African Hair Braiding, Marita approaches characters with a sense of groundedness and levity. Her original plays have received Off-Broadway and regional debuts, and her latest venture, Reus Street, solidifies her commitment to impactful storytelling from stage to screen. Marita is an emerging multi-hyphenate who proves it's never too late to begin again.
