Maria Yanagisawa is a mixed Japanese/European/Indo-Fijian film actress, singer, and theatre artist born and based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance/Acting from Simon Fraser University, and has performed in a variety of films, musicals, and other theatrical and commercial productions. In 2019, Maria was nominated for a Joey Award for Best Actress for her performance in the short film Virgo Rising.
