Marco is a first generation American and first generation college graduate. He grew up in a trilingual household where his grandparents only spoke Spanish and Portuguese. Therefore, his dog Mr. Magoo the Pugapoo is trilingual! Marco shares Pablo Picasso’s belief that “the meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.” He is eternally grateful for the many teachers whose service, sacrifice, and passion informed his life. His work is inspired by their invaluable lessons.
