Liz Sankarsingh is an Indo-Caribbean American born in Dallas, TX. Her family is from Trinidad and Tobago, and moved to the U.S. in the mid 1970s. Liz is a mother, an arts advocate, and a nonprofit leader. She is on the boards of Junior Players and Echo Theater. In 2023, Liz received a TACA Pop-Up Artist Grant for her performance in Natural Shocks. She has written grants for the Oscar-qualifying Tasveer Film Festival. Liz and her husband own over 3,000 books, and she has daily dance parties with her 4 year old.
