Growing up in a family of athletes, Lauren branched into the world of film and theater early in life. She has trained in Los Angeles and New York City with professionals both in front of the camera and on the stage. She holds two feature films and a handful of shorts under her belt. Additionally, Skemp recently received a national award for her startup business; a mental health journaling platform for teens. On top of acting and running a business, Lauren is also in the process of publishing her first book!
