Kimberly was born and raised in Sacramento, California. She began acting at the age of 12 and went on to pursue a B.A. in Theatre Arts (Performance) at San Diego State University. Trained in classical and contemporary, as well as the Meisner technique, she is experienced with working on both the stage and the screen.
