Valerione(She/They), a native of Louisiana, is an Interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles who's been creating since they were given their first gospel CD (Kirk Franklin & Family - Whatcha Lookin’ 4) at the age of five. Having been raised in a musical family(Carmouche Sisters/Wright Family). a local church, and the community theatre in their hometown, their influences include artists such as Cicely Tyson, Whitney Houston, Donny Hathaway, Steven Sondheim, Alan Menken, Stevie Wonder, and The Clark Sisters.
