Julia received nominations for LA Weekly’s Best Supporting Actress (“Alceste” at Theatre of NOTE) and Best Ensemble (“Hermetically Sealed” at Skylight Theatre). Onscreen she has played: cops, grieving mothers, boss ladies, teachers and a zombie killer. In her non-acting life she has travelled in a wooden boat down the Amazon, in a container ship across the Pacific, and backpacked through Europe. She is named after her great-aunt Julia Child, the famed television chef, who taught her how to make quiche.
