Joel is an actor, director, and puppeteer from California, based in New York. He is the third person to ever play Gobo for The Jim Henson Company. Joel holds a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch, and has trained with some of the top teaching artists in the country. At NYU, Joel specialized in Musical Theatre at the New Studio on Broadway, and studied Commedia dell’Arte at NYU Florence under master acting teacher Jim Calder. He has also received rave reviews for his performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
