Joel is an actor, director, and puppeteer from California, based in New York. He has starred in shows opposite Broadway veterans, and has trained with some of the top directors and teaching artists in the country. He has been a principal puppeteer for The Jim Henson Company, and holds a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. At NYU, Joel specialized in Musical Theatre at the New Studio on Broadway, and studied Commedia dell’Arte at NYU Florence under master acting teacher Jim Calder.
