Born in Mexico, raised as an American; bilingual with the best of both worlds. Joel attended UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) to obtain his BFA in Theater and Dramatic Literature, although his professional career started since his first college days. In the span of 2 years he booked more than 20 independent short films, a couple TV pilots, some co-star roles, a recurring role in a web series and a few commercials.
