Born in Mexico, raised as an American; bilingual with the best of both worlds. Joel attended UNAM in Mexico City to obtain his BFA in Theater, although his acting career started since his first college days. After graduating he booked more than 30 on camera projects in Mexico (film, TV & commercials included) and became a usual nominee at international film festivals. During the pandemic he got a full scholarship to attend the prestigious Stella Adler's Art of Acting Studio in LA and got his MFA in Acting.
