J.M. Vasquez is a self-taught writer, director, and actor based in Tampa, FL. She has written and directed four short films across genres including drama, psychological thriller, horror, and romantic comedy—starring in her two most recent. Her horror short The Confession premiered at the Sunscreen Film Festival and has received recognition for its screenplay at multiple U.S. festivals. J.M. is currently developing two feature screenplays and seeking representation across disciplines to advance her career.
