Gaven Heglar grew up in rural Virginia and he discovered who he was through Film and TV, clinging and gravitating toward its power and; the hope it can give when there is none. Growing up there weren't opportunities to express yourself, you were expected to stay put and get passed along until you rotted away. He fell in love with the idea that something could change. Film gives him that hope. Gaven is determined to prove anyone can be more than their circumstances, and have the right to tell their story.
