Understanding herself and her importance in this world is the driving force behind everything Essie does. She started acting because of her will to communicate deeply and connect wholeheartedly with others. That's why, while trained in multiple methods, she prefers techniques rooted in Meisner-focusing on the underlying emotion of her characters. It took a bit longer than she would have liked to get here, but Essie has truly found her passion in acting and this zeal is abundant in the characters she portrays.
