Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Deanna received her MFA from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory, with additional study at Upright Citizens Brigade, Bob Krakower, and Wynn Handman in NYC. Growing up, Deanna was painfully shy, and acting became her way of connecting, an instinct continues to shape her work. Her work has been recognized at festivals including the Berlin Film Festival, & she received a Best Actress award at the Hofstra Film Festival.
