In addition to acting, Christine Altan's journey led to the roles of producer, director, and writer of multiple award-winning short films. Christine is also an active advocate of Women in Film. In 2016, she was awarded the Women in Film Fellowship Award through the Shawna Shea Foundation. She also holds the title of Mrs. NH America 2008. Her Turkish-American heritage contributes to her ambiguous and exotic look.
