I competed as a slam poet from 2000 to 2013, winning a world championship title at the end. For those first four years I studied with Dr. Ray Sibley, an acting coach. Ray prompted me to audition for one of his Shakespeare productions. I loved it, but poetry was paying the bills. Since 2013, I've been working as a poet, musician, teacher, non-profit administrator, and radio host. And booking commercials featuring my poetry. In 2021, I decided to get back to acting, studying with Jency Hogan at Love Acting
