Brian Joél Sanchez was born in The Bronx. He grew up playing baseball in New York and the Dominican Republic until high school where he was recruited for speech and debate. In his his first and only year he won 1st place in Drama Interpretation at Stanford University. The same monologue that earned 1st place, earned him a spot at SUNY Purchase's Conservatory of Theatre Arts. Known for The Changeling (Apple TV+) and Blue Bloods (CBS) he brings grounded, character-driven performances on stage and screen.
