Sundance Institute Fellow (Trans Possibilities Intensive) Ava Davis, also known as the Duchess of Grant Park, is a trans actress based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a fellow of the Sundance Institute (2021), and started her own production company in 2019 to produce work that highlights queer black, brown, and beige voices. She is currently in development for her first feature film, The Waltz, about a black trans woman who wants to learn to waltz like in Beauty and the Beast.
