A protective, single mother confronts a loan shark that has swindled her out of her last. She's been left penniless, jobless, and now her son, who has cerebral palsy, can't get the treatments/medications he needs.

Naomi and her boyfriend, Jesse, have been in a relationship for years. However, once Jesse and his little brother, Oliver, lose their mom, it puts a huge strain on Naomi and Jesse's relationship. Naomi tries to step up the best way she knows how: being a patient and encouraging girlfriend to Jesse and a maternal figure to Oliver. Will her efforts be just what the boys need or will it create more of a divide between them all?

Katie McNickle is a photo journalist for the local news. In her endeavors to help catch the town's cocky turned sloppy serial killer, she gets kidnapped by him. Obsessed with the nursery rhyme "3 Blind Mice", the killer always keeps 3 girls caged in his lair. Once captured, Katie develops a deep bond with another kidnap victim, Jenny. Feeling as though she doesn't have much to return to in the outside world, Katie decides that she's ready to engage in a fight to the death with the killer, in the hopes that it will ensure the safety of Jenny and the rest of the town.
