Despite being pronounced like “Ailey” in “Alvin Ailey,” don’t ask me to waltz. I grew up with parents who love to travel, so by the time I was 8, I was flying across the US by myself. If traveling has taught me anything, it's that there is more to the world than what’s right next door. My curiosity about the world led me to explore acting. I have an inherent desire to understand the world, and human connection means everything to me.
