Sajel attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts' B.F.A. Drama program. She received a prestigious 75% Tisch Talent Scholarship to attend the Meisner Studio after graduating from the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA), where she studied Opera, Musical Theatre, & Acting. She is also a singer, Bollywood dancer, and writer. On the scripted development side, she was recently selected for a fellowship to develop her short with Rickshaw Film Foundation, spotlighting rising South Asian storytellers.
