Matthew Gerrish was born and raised on the northeastern coast of Massachusetts. He made dozens of short films, starring himself primarily. Film took him to Emerson College where he graduated with a degree in video media arts. Feeling a need to develop his acting abilities, he moved to New York City and started classes at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. He completed his two year conservatory, and now looks to continue his career as an actor in Los Angeles.
