Marilise is a NY actor with an Italian-American dad from Peekskill and a French Huguenot mom from New Paltz. Summer adventures with cousins upstate led to her lifelong love of the Hudson Valley. Her uncle, Rudy Tronto, was a Tony-nominated Broadway director. On hiatus from acting, she worked to preserve traditional Indigenous languages and lifeways, and represented the Int’l Women’s Writing Guild at the U.N. Recent films: Something of a Monster (Amazon Prime/Apple TV+), Room for Error (Film Shortage/YouTube).
