Marilise recently appeared in an indie feature ("Something of a Monster," as a calculating mother-in-law) and two NYU films: "This Joyless Place" (as a stern hospice nurse) and "Each & Every" (as a loving grandmother). Current training: SV Acting Studio (Sam Clemmett). On a hiatus from acting, she represented the International Women's Writing Guild at the United Nations. She has worked extensively to preserve traditional Indigenous languages and lifeways, and has helped return buffalo to Native communities.
