MARIANNE FERRARI Actor/Singer/Writer/Director/Pri Marianne is a Bronx-born, proud native New Yorker. As a little girl, Marianne heard the tale (over and over and over again) of her immigrant Italian parents meeting, dancing and falling in love on the cruise liner that traversed them to their impossible dream (a new life in America), a year to the day before it sank! The destiny of their journey and all that came with it shaped Marianne as an artist in every way. On Tar Beach, she dreamed her own dream.
