Kayla developed a love for acting at a very young age. She got invested in her high school's theatre department and was accepted into the thespian society. Kayla trained at the Herbert Berghof Studio in 2021 learning techniques such as the Alexander technique. In 2022 Kayla was nominated at the Nova Film Festival for Best Actress in a Short film. She continued her training at The McKinnon Acting Studio, and training in the Meisner technique at the Baron Brown Studio in 2023. Kayla is also a writer and model.
