Julia Purdy was born and raised in a small town in upstate New York. She earned a B.A. in Theatre Performance from Western Connecticut State University. Throughout college, Julia trained extensively in acting. After graduating, she transitioned from theatre to film, studying on-camera acting with Ted Brunetti in New York City. She has also continued her training through scene study classes at HB Studio in NYC, improv classes, and ongoing acting coaching. Julia is often cast as strong, relatable young women.
