I am often cast as a confident, hard-core professional (or matriarch). As a former real-life consultant and corporate manager, such roles come naturally to me. But, when you combine that type of attitude with my many years of improv and comedy training, I'm able to add an "off beat" quality (perhaps ever so subtly) to an otherwise serious character. A Midwesterner at heart, I've been a Brooklynite for over 30 years.
