Hemali Gopie-Lautan from Pretoria,South Africa found her passion for acting at 10 through watching bloopers of movies. She aspires to inspire artists to be proud of who they are and where they come from. Hemali adds her own South Asian spice to her art, staying true to her roots. She has trained in a few dance styles finding her home in Kathak and has been training with her Guruji Pravika Nandini. She enjoys cooking and baking with Mum, being Dad’s water girl when he plays cricket and spending time with family
