I began my journey as an EMT while still pursuing my acting career, and quickly discovered that the skills I learned in each field were complementary. Acting taught me how to think on my feet and react quickly to unexpected situations, skills that are essential in the world of EMS. Similarly, my experience as an EMT has given me a deeper understanding of human nature and the ability to connect with people and being able to draw emotions from real experiences that I’ve been in is invaluable as an actor.
