Born in small town rural WV, Derek had a love for performing at a young age. Throughout his teenage years you could find him performing in his high school drama department, community theatre productions, show choir and All Star cheerleading team. After moving to Los Angeles in 2015, Derek has worked on several film, TV, commercial and theatre productions. His lead role in the short film Adultlings landed him the award for Best Comedic Actor in a short film at the World Premiere Film Awards.
