The Peekabows..local children's TV series (Performance Video) Quicktime
Collaborated with Kea Gormley (writer) Geri Emata (friend, co-director and played Lena), Willie K (played Uncle and music) and I (co-director and player Alani), to create a local children's TV show. Geri and I came up with this concept of 3 girls (Peekabows -ancestors of the Hawaiians) from the rainbow sky who come to the islands to help children learn universal values (incorporating Hawaiian language). We received a grant in Jan, 2021 and are in the process of turning The Peek-a-Bows into an animated series!

Cyndi Mayo-Akeo is a locally known actress, singer, and dancer. Cyndi has been performing since the age of 10 with her family's local group "The Family Ties". Since then, she pursued a career in all aspects of the entertainment field and has practically done it all. Besides film, TV, theater, commercials, hosting, newscasting, and emceeing, Cyndi's highlights have been performing in a tour of "Dreamgirls'' with Jennifer Holliday and impersonating 'Janet Jackson'in Legends in Concert.
