Chris Wu was born in Seattle, Washington. The third child to Helen Wu (Fang), who worked for airport as a ticketing manager, and fifth child to Thomas Wu, who owned and managed a travel agency. Chris’ parents divorced when he was three and spent his younger life jumping back and forth between parents until he moved to Cerritos, California with his mother, older sister and older brother when he was thirteen.
