Within two months of graduation, she won her first professional acting role as Learlean in Northlight Theatre's production of 'White, Hot and Cool'. This opportunity allowed Chanté to become a member of Actors Equity Association and led to other roles on the Chicago theatre scene such as Minnie in New American Theatre's production of 'Flyin West' and Charmaine in 'Getting Away with Murder' at Theatre at the Center.
