Cassandra Hunter is a writer, actor, and host. She made her television debut in HBO Max's The Pitt as Nurse Tara Emerson in the Season 2 finale. As a bi-racial Black and Asian woman raised between North Carolina and New York City, her eye is often drawn toward stories that blend culture, resilience, and the beauty of duality, reflecting her own journey through diverse worlds. She is a graduate from the American Conservatory Theater’s MFA program. Her short was executive produced by Issa Rae & Deniese Davis.
