She moved to Los Angeles when she was cast as Mildred in the Laguna Playhouse production of Eugene O’Neills "Ah, Wilderness!" “Carolyn Crotty is a cross between Julia Garner and Jodie Foster, with the bawdy wit of Pompey the Great thrown in.”
