In a career shift in his "golden years," Bob took up acting with a passion. He established a solid foundation through background work and training, graduating to speaking roles and SAG-AFTRA membership. Bob is former mayor of the City of Augusta, Georgia. An Emmy-nominated broadcast journalist, he is the author of eight books on Southern history. Bob attended Wofford College and Augusta University. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
