Amber Kain was born to a family of theater veterans in NYC. Her godfather was the late Joseph Papp, legendary producer & founder of The Public Theater in Manhattan. She began acting professionally as a kid, appearing in over four dozen TV commercials. In addition to her film & TV credits, Amber Kain has performed at acclaimed off-Broadway playhouses including Playwrights Horizons, 2nd Stage & The Public Theater. Ms. Kain studied at the Public Theater's Shakespeare Lab as well as NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
