Alex Crawford comes to acting from a career in sports broadcasting and local journalism. He founded the Sunday Night Salad improv/sketch comedy group in 2015 while working for ESPN Radio and eventually shifted from hosting/play-by-play announcing to acting and live comedy. He is also an elite distance runner, finishing in 18th place in the 2025 LA Marathon and running a personal best of 2:35:08 at the Calfornia International Marathon in 2025.
