Actress based in Atlanta, GA. Gem made her first Theatre debut as Sojourner Truth in Women in Black and continued on to be a lead in her first film The Perfect Lesson. She minored in Theatre at Howard University and completed the Uta Hagen CORE certificate program in New York City where she worked on Shakespeare, Chekhov, and contemporary playwrights. Gem was accepted and received a full scholarship to attend the Black Arts Institute at the world-renowned Billie Holiday Theatre in Brooklyn, NY.
