Melissa has been singing and dancing since her first performance at 8 years old in a workshop of "Cats." From that point, she discovered the joy that performing could provide, and began formal voice and dance training at John Leggio's Center for the Performing Arts in Spring Hill, Florida, participating in the Xcel Performing Arts Company. She went on to pursue a degree in Musical Theatre at Marymount Manhattan College and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2018.
